With fall now in fill swing we experience cooler nights, early fog on the water, leaves are changing their color and yes hoodie weather. But besides these, my favorite fall experience is the fish are feeding heavily on baitfish shuch as small shad. That’s right they are gorging on tons of bait because winter is on its way and they need to pack on some extra weight. Often times the bass will be puking up mouthfulls of tiny shad as you land them. So identify whats inside their mouth and match your bait to the size bait they are keyed in on. This one tip may just turn your next trip into a day of abundant catching, rather than just an ordinary day of fishing!
